Almost every home inspected will require some attention and repair, so before you consider hiring a home inspector make sure you request a copy of their inspection report. Along with comparing experience and credentialing, comparing home inspection reports will allow you to have a better understanding of the quality of work performed, the type of report and the information that will be provided to you.

Handwritten or paper checklist reports, formally the industry standard are a thing of the past. New electronic reports providing comprehensive documentation including digital images of defects and diagrams of attention areas are the superior method. Every report provides full-color digital images, a summary of the home’s defects with a level of severity, information for each major system in the home and information on those systems that may be reaching the end of their life.

Infrared Inspection Services

While infrared technologies continue to advance and provide more information for an inspector or thermographer, the information that is provided to you the customer isn’t always easy to understand. That’s why at Progressive we provide you with an un-matched report that shows side by side infrared and visible light images including image descriptions. Infrared is an amazing technology and we believe the report you receive should be too!
