Mold Screening and Testing
Our Mold-Certified Inspectors can assess possible mold-related issues, perform moisture testing to identify the source of mold, and test mold sites for possible mold-related health concerns and presence. At Progressive Home Inspection, every inspector is not just certified in home inspections but certified in environmental areas such as mold and radon. Mold Certifications are achieved through the Environmental Solutions Association, an independent environmental training organization for home professionals.
Radon Testing
Radon is a colorless and odorless gas that is a byproduct of the breakdown of uranium and, according to the US EPA, the second leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Radon is highly toxic but can be identified through testing. Areas placed in Zone 1, such as Minnesota, according to the US EPA are recommended for testing as these areas contain high levels of radon. For more information, please visit www.epa.gov/radon. If you are concerned with radon levels in your home, please give us a call at Progressive Home Inspection today!
